The day, in order
- Morning
A focused Tsukiji visit
Begin in the Tsukiji Outer Market, using Plat Tsukiji information if needed. Choose a few things to understand or taste, keep working passages clear and use the eating space the seller provides.
- Lunch
Make one meal the main event
Leave time to sit down. Check payment and ingredients before ordering; a dish photograph does not answer every dietary question.

Browse Ginza at your own pace Optional
Move from the food district to a different kind of city street. Leave room for a break rather than treating every shop as a destination.
- Late afternoon
Choose a station-area finish Optional
Add the Tokyo Station and Marunouchi area if it suits the way back to your base. Drop it if lunch or the weather has already made the day full.
Make it lighter
Keep the first area and the meal break. The optional afternoon and evening sections can be removed; you do not need to hurry through everything to have a complete day.
If the weather changes
A shorter market visit and a seated meal can still form a good day. Indoor browsing later is optional, not an excuse to carry wet clothes and bags through a packed schedule.
Check before leaving
Check the market calendar and your chosen shops before setting the day. Many shops close on Sundays and some Wednesdays; hours vary.
