What this guide is for
First Mile Japan helps English-speaking travelers turn a first visit to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka into understandable days. The useful question is not how many sights fit on a list, but which places belong together and what time the journey itself needs.
How the guides are put together
Destination and operator information supports the factual details. Our contribution is the area grouping, comparison, sequence and explicit choice of what to omit. Planning suggestions are not measured door-to-door times, availability checks or first-hand restaurant reviews.
What the planner does
It combines the published day routes by city, interests and pace. An arrival day is treated differently from a full sightseeing day, and an easy plan removes the optional extensions. It does not book tickets, track your location or connect to live transport services.
Use the current provider for the final check
Fares, opening arrangements, access conditions and entry rules can change. Each practical guide links to the operator, venue or relevant official information. Use those sources for your dates and circumstances before making a payment or a fixed-time commitment.
Images and rights
Photographs are credited to their actual creators. The image notes distinguish a specific place from a general food illustration; the linked credits describe the source, license and resizing or format conversion.
